The component's administrator interface has been completed for a couple of weeks.  Current efforts are focused on completing the user interface.  This consists of different views (day, week, month), search capabilities, and booking capabilities.

Currently the three views are implemented.  Effort is now directed towards the booking and searching support.

Remaining work

The remainding work is either functional or presentational.  The functionality has higher priority. Once the functionality is complete, a beta version of the component can be delivered.  The customer can test the functionality while the presentation issues are resolved.

Functionality

Here's a summary of the things left to do in terms of functionality

• book an object (include validation of availability)
• search
• request a booking

Non-admins viewing the system can make booking requests.  When admins log in they have the opportunity to accept or decline booking requests.  This will be supported via a custom module that will interact with the booking component.

Presentation

The current presentation for the different views and the forms is very basic and not that pretty.  Before final release of the component this will be updated.
